Many exceptional ingredients are lovingly cultivated in the restaurant’s own extensive vegetable and herb garden, located in the Polders of Kruibeke.

Chef Kris De Roy has been at the stove at Hofke van Bazel since 1999. After six years of an intense professional collaboration, the spark eventually ignited. Since then, together and with great passion, they have nurtured their restaurant and continue to create true culinary fireworks in Bazel.

This couple has truly found each other, sharing the same passion and ambition. Together, they have turned Hofke van Bazel into a gastronomic reference with countless strengths. And it seems they still cherish many plans for the future…

Honoured as one of the most beautiful villages in Flanders, the village centre of Bazel is well worth a visit. Bazel is a charming medieval village with a rich history, beautifully nestled within an outstanding natural landscape.
