What are the booking conditions
When booking a stay, you naturally have certain expectations regarding your accommodation and destination. You want to enjoy a pleasant and carefree stay. Hofke van Bazel makes every effort to meet your expectations as well as possible. However, there are certain matters over which we have little or no control.
1. Payment
Deposit amount
With your booking confirmation, you will receive a payment overview including the deposit amount. The deposit equals 50% of the total agreed amount and must be paid within 14 days after final confirmation of your reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid upon check-out. Failure to pay on time entitles us, after a reminder, to cancel your reservation and exclude you from participation. In such cases, the cancellation conditions (see article 3) will apply and the corresponding cancellation fees will be charged.
2. Changes made by the guest
For any changes to your booking, we kindly request that you inform us at least two weeks in advance. This does NOT include cancellations.
3. Cancellation by the guest*
It may occur that you need to cancel your booked overnight stay. Please note that cancellation fees apply.
If you cancel at least two weeks before arrival, only the deposit will be retained.
If you cancel later than two weeks before arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged.
4. Consumption of food and beverages in the room
We kindly ask that no own food and/or beverages be consumed in the suites or the restaurant.
5. Liability of Hofke van Bazel
Hofke van Bazel accepts no liability for personal injury or damage to guests’ property, nor for any other liability arising from events during your stay.
The person making the booking is jointly and severally liable. Hofke van Bazel is not liable for damage, loss, or destruction during your stay. Any costs incurred must always be borne by the person concerned.
6. Data Protection Act
Hofke van Bazel processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Personal data is used for the execution of your reservation, providing guest lists to the on-site organisation, and after-sales services.

8. Dog policy
Dogs are allowed subject to a fee of €18 per dog.
Maximum one dog per room.
9. Check-in & check-out
Check-in: from 4:00 PM
Check-out: by 12:00 PM
10. Smoking
Smoking indoors is not permitted. Smoking is allowed on the outdoor terrace.
11. Liability – website
Despite the care and attention devoted to managing this website, it is possible that the site contains incorrect information. Hofke van Bazel cannot be held liable for technical or editorial errors on this website, nor for any consequential damage resulting from the use or temporary unavailability of this website or links to third-party websites.
12. Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data, you may submit it to the competent data protection authority.
